Abu Dhabi Autonomous Racing League – Epic Embarrassment!

The hype was stupendous. A race of autonomous F1 cars in Abu Dhabi. They had everything they needed to put on a cutting edge live race showing off futuristic technology.

AI racing is the future!

And the result was, um, as you would expect: epically bad. Even without the help of Elon Musk, they showed that spending a fortune on a publicity stunt would lead to the slowest yet most crashy F1 “race” ever:

All I can say is: please don’t do this again.
